Niger beat Togo for epic clash vs Golden Eaglets

Niger are the new leaders of Group B of the WAFU B U17 AFCON qualifying tournament after they beat Togo 3-2 to set up an epic clash Sunday against the Golden Eaglets.

The Niger vs Togo match was rescheduled till earlier today after it could not be played Thursday as a result of heavy downpour.

The Junior Mena of Niger now have three points after  round of matches, while the Golden Eaglets and Burkina Faso are on a point each on the back of their goalless draw Thursday.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinal of the qualifying tournament with the eventual finalists advancing to the U17 AFCON final tournament.
