Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman, has reacted to the recent protests that rocked Nepal.

The country was under a shutdown after youths took to the streets to fight against government corruption.

The youths complained about the children of government officials studying abroad and using social media to flaunt their lavish lifestyles.

After the first protest, the government banned the use of social media, which led to another protest where youths destroyed property.

Some protesters lost their lives in the process, and the government imposed a curfew.

Reacting to the protests, VDM praised the youths for standing united. He said the protest began after some activists spoke out against corruption.

According to him, he was confident that the government would address the issues raised by the youths once everything calmed down.

The activist who unveiled his movement logo a few days ago noted that such a movement could not happen in Nigeria because influencers on X (formerly Twitter) would be the first to fuel tribal and religious wars.

VDM added that influencers would likely compromise, taking money from the government to fuel tribalism and religious conflict, preventing any meaningful progress.

The TikToker emphasized that tribal and religious wars would never allow protests to be successful in Nigeria.

The activist further stated that he does not support violence but commended the youths in Nepal. He explained that Nepal’s population was not much larger than that of Lagos State.

VDM urged that for Nigeria to be great again, the youths should come together and promote love and unity.

He affirmed that the government should fear the youth because of the power they hold to bring about change in the country.

VDM also highlighted that tribalism and religious sentiments were tools used by the government to oppress the country, advising the youths to put these divisions aside.

He clarified that he was not advocating for violence but wanted a similar change to occur in Nigeria as well.

Recall that VDM has been very active in speaking out on national issues. He was recently in Ghana to mediate the dispute between Ghanaians and Nigerians.

According to him, Ghanaians want Nigerians to vacate their country.
