Lucky Super Eagles defender escapes red card twice

Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha must count himself a very lucky man after he escaped two red cards in Gent 1-1 draw with Club Brugge, according to experts.

“It was just revenge from him. It was over the top”, commentator Filip Joos said on Extra Time.

 “The light just went out for Torunarigha and he doesn’t look at the ball at all. Very strange.”

Franky Van der Elst and Gert Verheyen also agreed that Torunarigha deserved a red card for that infringement, but it didn’t come
