Lagos fans and mourners protest Mohbad‘s death, demand justice
Fans and mourners in Lagos, Nigeria, have joined calls for justice for the death of music artist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Protests have been held in Ikate, Lekki, and Igbo Efon, Lekki-Epe, with another planned for Thursday, September 21 at Muri Okunola Park. Protesters are calling on the Nigerian Police and other security agencies to investigate Mohbad’s death and bring his killers to justice.
Mohbad died on September 12 at the age of 27. The cause of his death is still unknown, but there have been allegations that he was bullied and mistreated by his former record label.
Many people have taken to social media to express their outrage and demand justice for Mohbad. The hashtag #JusticeForMohbad has been trending on Twitter, with people sharing their memories of the artist and calling for an end to the culture of bullying and violence in the Nigerian music industry.

The Nigerian Police have announced that they are investigating Mohbad’s death. However, many people are skeptical of the police’s ability to conduct a fair and thorough investigation. They are calling for an independent investigation into Mohbad’s death, to ensure that justice is served.
