#JusticeForMohbad: Lagos Fans Protest MohBad’s Death, Call for Investigation

Lagos fans and mourners protest Mohbad‘s death, demand justice

Fans and mourners in Lagos, Nigeria, have joined calls for justice for the death of music artist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Protests have been held in Ikate, Lekki, and Igbo Efon, Lekki-Epe, with another planned for Thursday, September 21 at Muri Okunola Park. Protesters are calling on the Nigerian Police and other security agencies to investigate Mohbad’s death and bring his killers to justice.

Mohbad died on September 12 at the age of 27. The cause of his death is still unknown, but there have been allegations that he was bullied and mistreated by his former record label.
