Kelechi Iheanacho has said he believes that he has joined Scottish champions at the right time after a proposed loan move fell through in January.
Iheanacho has reunited with his boss at Leicester City Brendan Rodgers seven months after the loan switch failed.
His summer transfer has been met by outrage from the Celtic fans.
“We don’t need to talk about that now,” said Iheanacho.
“We just need to put that aside and move on to the future.
“Of course, I always wanted to come to Celtic.
“It’s a massive club and obviously I know the well. It didn’t work out that time, but now I think it’s the right time.”
His late winner at Kilmarnock at the weekend will go a long way in reconnecting with the Celtic fan base.
