Injury rules out key Flying Eagles star

For tonight’s decisive WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifier against Niger, the Flying Eagles will be without defensive midfielder Sabiu Ibrahim due to an ankle injury.

Officials informed SCORENigeria that the Niger Tornadoes ace has not been able to shake off the ankle injury he picked up against Cote d’Ivoire in a final Group B match.

Sabiu was a late addition to the Flying Eagles following the unavailability of Daniel Daga.
