There is certainly no love lost between the Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis and Victor Osimhen as the transfer saga involving the striker rumbles on.
Osimhen’s camp have accused the Napoli President of being the main stumbling block to his transfer to Galatasaray as he would have preferred he accepted the offer by Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.
De Laurentiis himself has been far from happy with the Super Eagles star, according to II Mattino newspaper.
The Italian newspaper said the Napoli owner has been so upset with Osimhen that he has had trouble staying calm when it comes to his matter.
“He has only one issue he’s having trouble staying calm about: Osimhen,” reported the publication.
“For two years, Osimhen has been a kind of nightmare.
“First the renewal (of his Napoli contract), then his impossible transfer.
“And even these days seem like an ordeal. It’s an issue that troubles him (De Laurentiis) because every time there’s a setback, an unforeseen event.”
