Central defender Igho Ogbu today celebrated his first-ever call-up by the Super Eagles in style by scoring in a 3-0 home win over Jablonec in the Czech League.
He hit target in the ninth minute, when he broke down a move by the visitors before he finished like a striker would.
It was his second goal in the league this season.
The 25-year-old Ogbu, who has already been capped by the Flying Eagles, has been named in the final 23-man squad for upcoming must-win 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Slavia Praha are runaway leaders of the league ahead of local rivals and defending champions Sparta.
