Identities of over 200 Maiduguri prison escapees unveiled, as FG vows action

  • The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) confirmed that 274 inmates were missing after the walls of the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Maiduguri collapsed
  • The NCoS has assured the public that the biometrics and details of the escaped inmates are being shared to aid in their recapture
  • NCoS is working closely with other security agencies to apprehend the remaining escapees
