How PSG plan to sign Osimhen next month

As first reported, PSG have renewed their chase to sign Victor Osimhen.

In the summer, there was reported interest by the French Ligue 1 perennial champions, but in the end Napoli striker Osimhen moved on loan to Galatasaray.

PSG are back for the striker with RMC Sport reporting that Luis Campos, who has known Osimhen since his Golden Eaglets days, is pushing for this transfer.

Osimhen is aware of the renewed PSG interest as his agent has been contacted.

This comes as the debate is whether PSG want to sign a winger or a striker in the winter window.

“He is at a much lower price than last summer,” Football Expert Daniel Riolo said.

“De Laurentiis was asking for 220 (million euros) for Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia. Now the package is over. Napoli still owns (the player).

“Obviously, there could be an opening. It is not a done deal, there are discussions in a fairly serious way.”

RMC Sport said PSG plan to sign Osimhen on loan with option for a permanent deal thereafter.

They will also make room for him by letting go France striker Randal Kolo Muani, who has endured limited game time in the first part of the Ligue 1 campaign.

Muani is wanted by several top clubs in Germany and England as well as Monaco in Ligue 1.
