Gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori recently had the opportunity to be in the same space with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside some top dignitaries at an event.
According to reports by GoldMyne, Alaseyori met with the governor at the 80th birthday celebration of Olori Aramide Oniru.

However, the highlight of the short video was the manner in which she greeted the governor.
Alaseyori, who is known for her humility aside from her songs, was spotted on her knees as she exchanged pleasantries with Governor Sanwo-Olu and other dignitaries at the high table.
The gospel singer’s show of respect and humility, however, has gained attention and stirred mixed reactions online.

Sharing the video on her Instagram page, Yinka Alaseyori wrote,
“A heartfelt thank you to His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, Gov Jide Sanwo-olu and the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Femi Hamzat @femihamzat My mama, Mummy Abimbola fashola for honoring this moment with your presence and the beautiful gift of love. Your support and kindness added even more grace to a day already rich with joy and legacy. To my big fathers and mothers, I sincerely appreciate you all. Eshey ganni Modupe.”

The excited mum shared the good news with her fans. In her social media post, the singer thanked her son for making her nine-month journey easy and for allowing her to carry on like nothing had changed.

Alaseyori disclosed before the concert that she had disbanded eight members from her 12-man band two weeks before the concert.
