Gift Orban has been dropped from the first-team squad of French Ligue 1 club Lyon due to indiscipline.
Lyon technical director Pierre Sage told L’Equipe that Gift Orban and Cote d’Ivoire star Wilfred Zaha have been axed from the squad for indiscipline.
Both players refused to train with the players who have not been playing regularly and those who did not feature against Scottish club Rangers in a UEFA Europa League clash.
One-time Super Eagles invitee Gift Orban has yet to establish himself at Lyon since his transfer in January.
Speculations over his future were rife in the summer as he was linked with various clubs including top Turkish club Trabzonspor.
Trabzonspor though could not meet the 12 Million Euros valuation of the striker by Lyon.
