Gift Orban still has a future at French club Lyon after all when he came off the bench to score twice and hand the Ligue 1 club a comeback win over Strasbourg.
Gift Orban was Man of the Match, but before then speculations were rife over his future with various reports suggesting a loan transfer away from Lyon.
His transfer to France from Belgian club KAA Gent has not exactly gone to plan as he was relegated to cameo roles and the goals dried up.
In the end, he stayed put to fight for a first team at the famous Ligue 1 club.
Just minutes after coming off the bench, he drew Lyon level at 3-3 in the 65th minute, before he snatched the match winner in the 72nd minute off another superb cross.
And it will be a reformed Gift Orban who will afterwards praise the team for this hard-fought victory.
