The Super Eagles training camp in Abidjan is now a full house with goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali and controversial call-up Sadiq Umar the only still being awaited.
The recall of Real Sociedad striker Sadiq Umar has continued to generate controversy as several more deserving strikers like Tolu Arokodare, Josh Maja, Cyriel Dessers were snubbed by the Super Eagles.
The bulk of the squad hit camp today with Victor osimhen, Victor Boniface, Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey and Ademola Lookman the last batch of players to hit camp.
The Super Eagles will therefore have their first team training in Abidjan tonight.
They will tackle home team Benin Thursday in a make-or-mar 2025 AFCON qualifier.
Nigeria top Group D with 10 points from four matches, Benin are second on six points, while Rwanda are third having won five points.
Libya are bottom on a point. The top two teams will qualify for the 2025 AFCON to be hosted by Morocco in December 2025.
