Flying Eagles striker Ahmed Abdullahi has quit Belgian club KAA Gent to sign a four-year contract with English Championship side Sunderland.
The 20-year-old Abdullahi has an option for a further year.
The former Golden Eaglets star has been banging the goals for Gent second team – 21 goals in 28 appearances – but did not break into the first team of the Belgian club.
The Nasarawa-born striker featured at last year’s U20 AFCON in Egypt.
