Flying Eagles get tough U20 AFCON draw

The Flying Eagles have been drawn in a tough group that has two sub-regional heavyweights in Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso in next month’s WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifying tournament in Togo.

Hosts Togo head a softer-looking Group A along with Niger, Ghana and Benin.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals of the qualifying tournament.

The U20 AFCON proper will be hosted by South Africa in January.
