Flamingos coach Bankole Olowookere has added more firepower in the form of Super Falcons striker Janet Akekoromowei ‘Semenya’ for the WAFU B tournament, which kicks off in Ghana Thursday.
Nasarawa Amazon striker Akekoromowei made her Super Falcons debut against Algeria recently and she has also been capped by the country’s U20s.
Flamingos will also count on goals from leading scorer Harmony Chidi, Shakirat Moshood and Peace Effiong, who also shone at the recent FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
