World football governing body FIFA have imposed a transfer ban on top Russian club CSKA Moscow after they failed to pay the balance of the transfer fee for Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke.
FIFA ruled that the transfer ban on CSKA Moscow is until mid-2026, unless Dutch club SC Heerenveen are paid Three Million Euros being balance payment for the transfer of Ejuke to Russia.
Ejuke made the switch from Heerenveen to CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2020 after oth clubs agreed on a transfer fee of 11.3 Million Euros. However, part of that amount has not yet been paid and this forced Heerenveen to drag CSKA Moscow to FIFA.
