Father Kelvin Ugwu recently shared his thoughts after watching a video of Chioma, the wife of Nigerian music star Davido, eating in a private jet.
The scene, which showed Chioma enjoying a simple meal of jollof rice, grilled fish, salad, and a drink while flying, sparked admiration and envy from some viewers online.

Many people in the comment section expressed feelings of inadequacy and began questioning God about their own lives, comparing themselves to her.
Reacting to these sentiments, Father Kelvin cautioned against glorifying material displays or thinking that such moments define a better life.
He pointed out that the food Chioma was eating is not uncommon and can easily be prepared or enjoyed by anyone. He humorously suggested that people could even recreate similar moments by cleaning their car boots and enjoying a meal on the move.
Father Ugwu offers advice
More importantly, he stressed the importance of self-worth, contentment, and happiness over chasing lifestyles displayed by celebrities.
The clergyman reminded his audience that a fulfilling life is not found in luxury settings or expensive items, but in peace of mind and joy.
Father Kelvin concluded by urging people to stop comparing their lives to others and to enjoy the beauty of their own journey.

“I just watched this video of Chioma, the wife of the Nigerian Musician called Davido, eating in a private jet. I read comments from people who feel that this is everything and are asking God questions about their own lives.
I don’t know how people allow these sorts of things to worry them. You can as well clean up the boot of your car and serve yourself food in it and eat as the car moves. And besides, it is jollof rice and fish and sliced cucumber with red wine or maybe Coca-Cola that you are behaving as though there is something special that she is eating that you have not eaten before.
Most of you don’t really appreciate yourselves. These celebrities you are ‘awwwing’ are not living a better life because they eat on the plane or wear an expensive ring or wristwatch. A better life is lived in joy and happiness and contentment.
Stop the unnecessary comparison and questions to God. Enjoy what you have. As I will always say, when you get there, you will see that there is nothing there.

Father Ugwu berates Moses Bliss, Ekene Umenwa
Meanwhile, TheTalk.NG reported that Reverend Father Kelvin Ugwu criticised both actress Ekene Umenwa and gospel singer Moses Bliss over a viral clip showing the moment the former knelt before the latter after he made a surprise appearance at her wedding.
He said Bliss should have corrected Umenwa’s overly emotional reaction, warning against idolising ministers.
Citing scripture, he noted that some ministers now act like superstars, enjoying attention instead of promoting humility.
