New Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has not wasted any time to get going as he will be in Ikenne tomorrow to supervise the CHAN Eagles training ahead of the 2024 CHAN.
NFF president Ibrahim Gusau disclosed Chelle will be with the CHAN Eagles in a supervisory capacity as he did not select the players.
The NFF boss also spoke on the details of the contract of the new Eagles coach.
“NFF offered Chelle a two-year contract with an option to extend it by another year if he qualified the Super Eagles to the World Cup,” Gusau said.
“He has three assistants he is bringing to work with the Super Eagles and he will pay them personally.”
SCORENigeria has already reported the assistants – Hedi Taboubi – 1st assistant and video analyst; Thomas Gornourec – fitness trainer and Jean Daniel Padovani, who is a goalkeeper trainer.
