Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has drawn the battle lines with Victor Osimhen ahead of today’s Istanbul Derby between Fenerbache and Galatasaray.
Emenike featured for Fenerbache in his hey days and he is again backing them to beat Osimhen and Galatasaray in the big derby.
The former Super Eagles No 9 posted on social media a clip of a previous Derby between the two Istanbul giants in which he featured and Fenerbache won 6-0.
“This family is always behind you, Fenerbache,” Emenike posted.
“Good luck for tomorrow’s (Saturday) match.”
‘Gala’ lead the standings after five matches with a perfect 15 points, while Fenerbache are two points behind.
Osimhen’s new club failed to beat Fenerbache last season – losing 1-0 away and drawing 0-0 at home.
Kick-off time is 7pm in Nigeria.
