Chidera Ejuke has lived up to his vow to fight his way back to the Super Eagles on the back of his performances with new club Sevilla.
The former junior international was last involved with the Super Eagles in September 2022 as an unused sub in a friendly against Algeria.
Inconsistency as well as the fact that he has variously been on loan from Russian club CSKA Moscow could have been responsible for his going on international wilderness.
He has won five caps with the Super Eagles since his debut in October 2020.
He has shone for La Liga club Sevilla to deserve his recall.
His dribbling skills will now be expected to unlock the resolute defence the Libyans are expected to put up particularly for the game in Uyo on Friday, October 11.
Also back to the team is Bright Osayi-Samuel from Turkish giants Fenerbache.
He missed last month’s qualifiers due to injury.
