Caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen has said Victor Boniface will celebrate his first goal for the Super Eagles.
Victor Boniface has been on red-hot form for Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen with six goals so far this season.
However, he has yet to score for the Super Eagles in seven appearances.
“Victor Boniface has been a part of the team and he is being integrated to the team,” Eguavoen said.
“If he starts, he will score.”
Super Eagles stand-in captain William Ekong also has a high rating of the striker, who is widely expected to step up in the absence of the injured Victor Boniface.
“He’s a world-class player,” he remarked.
