DISASTER! Labbadia walks away from Super Eagles appointment

Bruno Labbadia will not be the new Super Eagles coach after contract talks with the NFF broke down.

German sports newspaper Kicker has reported that Labbadia has ended negotiations with the NFF, who on Tuesday announced him as the new coach of the Super Eagles.

SCORENigeria today reported that the 58-year-old coach has yet to sign a contract with Nigeria.

The NFF had announced Labbadia will lead the team out in 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda early next month.

This latest embarrassment further questions the competence of the NFF leadership, which had over three months to appoint a new coach for the country’s team.
