Nigerian fashion entrepreneur Uche Nnaji had openly slammed Davido’s stylist, calling the tailoring “shabby” and questioning her capability after photos showed the outfit looking rumpled.

In a behind-the-scenes video posted online, Yasmeen Ntwarii, the woman behind the wedding look, finally addressed the criticism.
She revealed that the suit was no random pick. It was a Tom Ford masterpiece, designed after she personally flew to London with the singer for fittings.
According to her, every detail was approved by Davido himself, from the exact shade of white to the cut of the lapels.
She explained:
“I followed the entire process, from the sketch to the final stitch.”
Yasmeen revealed that the cufflinks Davido wore weren’t just accessories; they carried a tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi.

Davido revisits his son’s death

The singer admitted that he and his wife, Chioma, didn’t know how they would recover. But they did. And he’s proud of it. For us to be able to go through the loss of our son and be able to bounce back in a major way is huge.”
