Davido, Zlatan, Falz, Bella Shmurda, others attend late Mohbad’s candlelight procession in Lekki, Lagos

Nigerian musicians Davido, Zlatan, and Falz joined celebrities and fans in a candlelight procession to honor late singer Mohbad in Lekki, Lagos on Thursday.

The procession, which kicked off from Lekki Phase 1 Gate and terminated at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, was a peaceful affair, with fans echoing “Justice for Mohbad” and holding placards with different inscriptions seeking justice for the late singer.

Also at the event was the Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende.

Mohbad, who died on Sept. 12 and was buried the next day, was exhumed by the Police on Thursday for further investigation.

The cause of Mohbad’s death is still under investigation, but his fans and family have called for a thorough investigation to ensure that justice is served.
