Officials have informed SCORENigeria that Molde of Norway midfielder Daniel Daga will team up with the rest of the Flying Eagles squad in Chile for the FIFA U20 World Cup.
Daga will thus be featuring in his second U20 World Cup after he first played at the 2023 edition, where the Flying Eagles reached the quarterfinal.
He was recently part of the team’s training camp in Abuja.
The Flying Eagles will fly out of Abuja Sunday night via Istanbul to Chile to set up training base for this year’s World Cup.
They begin their campaign on September 29 against Norway, before group games against Saudi Arabia and Colombia.
