Daga scores on winning European debut

Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga scored on his UEFA Conference League debut for Norwegian club Molde FK to advance to the Round of 16.

The 18-year-old midfielder played for half an hour and netted one of the penalties for Molde to edge past Shamrock Rovers.

Daga displayed nerves of steel when he stepped forward to dispatch his team’s fourth decisive kick for Molde to win 5-4 on penalties after both teams were tied 1-1 on aggregate.

He scored the match winner in a friendly against Hammarby of Sweden earlier this month.
