Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea have not yet begun conversations with Victor Osimhen on a contract.
The sports director of Napoli Giovanni Manna has visited London to sort out some of his club’s transfer dealings.
Transfer Expert Romano has reported that both Napoli and Chelsea have been busy on a deal that will take Romelu Lukaku to the Serie A club.
He said the Osimhen own side of the transfer is still in its early stages as Chelsea need to speak to the striker.
“Chelsea told Napoli that they are still on for Osimhen, but as of tonight (Thursday), Chelsea have still not presented a contract proposal to Osimhen, so we are still at the early stages,” he reported.
“They still need to discuss with the player (Osimhen) and as I always said, the player does not want to go on loan and the player (Osimhen) will not reduce his salary from 11 million Euros net.
“Chelsea still need to do some work on player side, before we enter the final stages. They are still discussing with Napoli.”
It was also stated that Chelsea never pulled out of the race for Osimhen even when they were in the race for ‘The New Osimhen’ Samu Omorodion.
