In the latest development on the Victor Osimhen transfer saga, Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano has explained that Chelsea will not consider a swap deal between Osimhen and Lukaku.
“Chelsea see the two cases (Osimhen and Lukaku) in a separate way. Chelsea are not expected to consider a swap deal,” he said.
“Chelsea as of today will not consider the deal as a swap deal.
“Chelsea want to first sort the deal of Lukaku, probably to reach an agreement with Napoli.”
He continued: “The interest in Victor Osimhen still remains, but the expectation on Osimhen is to go until the end of the transfer window.
“So, Chelsea first want to sort the issue of Lukaku, before Osimhen.
“Chelsea’s preference has always been for Osimhen for an opportunity.”
Osimhen’s transfer has so far proved to be one of the most drawn without a clarity two weeks to Deadline Day.
