CHAN Eagles stand-in coach Daniel Ogunmodede has picked the top players who have impressed in training camp in Ikenne ahead of today’s CHAN playoff in Ghana.
His top picks are his captain and central defender at Remo Stars Nduka Junior, Enugu Rangers central defender Ifeanyi Onyebuchi and versatile midfielder Papa Daniel from Niger Tornadoes.
“Several players have stood out for their dedication, skill, and leadership. Buchi (Ifeanyi Onyebuchi) has been exceptional, and Nduka’s leadership qualities are noteworthy,” the CHAN Eagles coach told Cafonline in an extensive interview.
“Papa (Daniel) is another standout.
“They have set high standards in training, showcasing versatility and inspiring their teammates.”
The left-footed Papa Daniel, who can also add defensive duties to his attacking forays in midfield, has already attracted interests from overseas.
The former Golden Eaglet Class of 2019 has already posted a short stint in Turkey.
