SCORENigeria has specially learnt that coach Eric Chelle will start a back four for tomorrow’s must-win 2026 World Cup qualifier against Rwanda led by captain William Ekong.
From the training in Kigali, Ekong will play alongside Calvin Bassey in the heart of the defence in the absence of the injured Semi Ajayi.
The fullbacks will be Bruno Onyemaechi on the left and Ola Aina on the right.
Chippa United goalkeeper and captain Stanley Nwabali remains the Super Eagles No 1 despite some indifferent displays on the back of the passing of his parents in quick succession.
