Jeremy Agbonifo has said he is still on Cloud 9 after he scored on his Ligue 1 debut.
At the weekend, Agbonifo came off the bench to score for RC Lens to beat Montpellier 2-0.
“To make my debut and score a goal right when I came on the pitch is indescribable. I couldn’t have dreamed of anything better,” the 19-year-old winger told Fotbollskaneln.
“It feels really good and I’m already looking forward to making my debut in front of the home fans.”
His new club Lens are currently in sixth place in Ligue 1.
“It’s a big club, and they presented a very good solution for all parties. So it was a very obvious choice when they came knocking on the door,”Agbonifo said.
The winger is on loan from Swedish club BK Hacken with option for a permanent transfer worth 10 Million Euros.
Last year, he scored six goals and made three assists in 18 appearances for BK Hacken.
