Again agent fires Napoli – give Osimhen his respect

Victor Osimhen’s agent has again asked Napoli to respect the striker because “he’s not a package to be sent far away to make room for new prophets”.

Roberto Calenda took to his X account to break his silence on the unending Osimhen transfer saga amid reports that Napoli and Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli are in talks on his client’s transfer.

Calenda also made it clear that Osimhen still has a lot to do in Europe even as Napoli are close to signing Romelu Lukaku as Antonio Conte’s preferred striker.

“Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction,” the agent said on X.

“He made history and when there were major offers (also this year) we always accepted the club’s decisions.

“As I said, he is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets.

“Victor was elected African footballer of the year, eighth at the Ballon d’Or, he still has so much to do in Europe.

“There is need for respect and balance.”
