Ademola Lookman has certainly put behind him the high drama involving his coach at Atalanta after he scored a brace in a 5-0 thrashing of home team Empoli tonight.
The Super Eagles striker made it 3-0 for the visitors after 43 minutes, before he completed his brace after 55 minutes.
He has now scored 12 goals in Serie A this season.
His latest goals came only days after Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini made comments about him after a missed penalty in a UEFA Champions League playoff against Club Brugge., which Ademola Lookman himself described as “disrespectful”.
Atalanta remain in third spot with 54 points from 26 matches, two points behind Napoli and three points behind new leaders Inter Milan.
