Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman has received a massive backing ahead of the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony on October 28.
Atalanta coach Gian Gasperini has said his personal vote will go to his star forward.
“My personal Ballon d’Or vote would go to Ademola Lookman,” he told Sky Sports.
“His magic skills helped us to win the Europa League.”
In May, Ademola Lookman fired a historic hat-trick for the Italian club to sweep aside Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 and win their first major international trophy.
The former England U20 star is the only African player nominated for this year’s prestigious Ballon d’Or.
