Ademola Lookman has gone AWOL at the height of the transfer standoff involving his club Atalanta with multiple reports now saying that he has found refuge at a holiday resort between Spain and Portugal.
The reigning CAF Player of the Year has not reported for training this week without providing a medical report and now stands to have his salary withheld by Atalanta going by the labour laws in Italy.
The Super Eagles forward has made it very clear he wishes to quit Atalanta for Inter Milan with who he has already agreed a five-year contract.
Atalanta have severally rejected formal bids by Inter, even suggesting they do not want the player to feature for an Italian club.
