Ademola Lookman has given his thoughts on Atalanta BC 2-0 win at Stuttgart in a UEFA Champions League tie.
On Wednesday night, the Super Eagles forward got Atalanta going with the opening goal in Germany before they went on to close the game with a second goal.
He said it was an important win at a difficult ground.
“We had a positive first half. We created dangerous moments in the game, so (the aim was to) just keep doing what we were doing,” he recollected.
“We knew the chances would come and we took them. We’re happy with the three points and we’ll keep going.”
He added: “We knew how important this game would be. Coming here is never easy – I think we all saw the atmosphere and how loud it was.
“It was great for us to experience it and play here, and wonderful for us to put on the performance that we did in this stadium.”
