CAN defends Akpabio, rejects resignation calls over harassment allegations

  • The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has rejected calls for Senate President Godswill Akpabios resignation, citing lack of concrete evidence.
  • PANDEF accused the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) of politicizing the allegations to undermine Southern leaders and influence the 2027 elections.
