NPFL Player of Week: Sunshine Stars shine bright with Ahmadu Liman hat-trick

The NPFL Player of Week 27 is Ahmadu Liman of Sunshine Stars.

Liman became only the second player to score a hat-trick in the current NPFL season after Anas Yusuf  of Nasarawa United netted a treble in Weeks 3  and 7.

The striker’s goals ensured Sunshine Stars beat Kwara United 4-2 Friday in continuation of the domestic championship.

He has now netted four goals in the NPFL after he made a goal-scoring debut in Week 20 against Ikorodu City.

Sunshine Stars are now 18th on the table with 31 points from 27 matches and are now just goals’ difference away from safety.
