Super Osimhen stars in 6-goal derby thriller

Today, Victor Osimhen fired his 16th goal in the Turkish Super Lig for Galatasaray to draw 3-3 with Istanbul rivals Kasimpasa.

The Super Eagles striker opened scoring from the penalty spot in the 12th minute after he was fouled by the Kasimpasa goalkeeper on his way to goal.

He scored his brace in the 71st minute when he allowed a long ball by the Galatasaray goalkeeper to beat his marker and he coolly slotted past the onrushing Kasimpasa shot stopper.

It was also 3-3 when both teams clashed in the reverse tie last year.

Galatasaray remain top of the standings with 65 points from 25 matches.

However, closest rivals Fenerbache have a chance to narrow the gap at the top with victory over Antalyaspor later today.
