Former Flying Eagles striker Suleiman Abdullahi has terminated his contract with Swedish club IFK Goteborg.
Abdullahi, 28, signed for Goteborg in the 2022 season from Bundesliga club Union Berlin.
However, he has struggled with injury in Sweden that he only made two appearances all of last season.
“Sulle’ has fought on despite several lingering injuries,” sports director Hannes Stiller told the Goteborg official website.
“Neither he nor we feel that we got the most out of each other, but we part as very good friends.
“‘Sulle’ is a nice guy who we wish success in his next club.”
