Southampton manager Ivan Juric has hailed Super Eagles stars Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu after they both scored for them to win only their second game of the Premier League season.
Aribo opened scoring and Onuachu snatched the winner off a rebound just before full time for ‘The Saints’ to record a vital 2-1 win at fellow strugglers Ipswich Town.
Juric said Onuachu has the quality to score more goals.
“I said we have quality, and the second goal is the quality of Deeno (Kamaldeen) and the quality of Paul (Onuachu),” he remarked.
“It was a great moment. He (Onuachu) deserved it because he really worked hard, it’s his second goal, I think he can score more, but he really worked hard for the team.”
The Southampton boss also had special praise for Aribo.
“Joe (Aribo) for me is a great guy; everything for the team,” he saluted.
“He doesn’t care if he is a forward, at the back or in the middle.
“He played left centre-back and I think he did a great second half .
“We worked really hard, really well, and Joe was great.”
