Nigerian winger Michael Adedokun has been drafted to MLS club CF Montreal, who already parade Super Eagles forward Sunusi Ibrahim.
Adedokun from Ohio University was the 13th pick of the 2025 MLS Super Draft first round.
He led Ohio State Buckeyes with 11 goals and 11 assists in the past season.
He helped his team win the 2024 Big Ten Tournament and was named the 2024 Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and also featured on the All-Big Ten first team.
The native of Eruwa in Nigeria, Adedokun was announced as one of the three finalists for the 2024 MAC Herman Trophy, awarded to the most valuable player in the NCAA Division 1 soccer.
The winner of the award will be announced on January 3.
