The Flamingos of Nigeria will aim to win the WAFU B U17 Championship this evening at the expense of hosts Ghana in a second Jollof Derby of the day.
The match will kick off at Prampram by 6pm, which will be an hour after the CHAN Eagles would have started their own Jollof Derby against their Ghanaian counterparts a few miles away in Accra.
The Princesses of Ghana smashed past Cote dβIvoire 5-0 in the first semifinal, while the Flamingos beat Benin 2-0.
Benin were a tough nut to crack and it needed a penalty goal by Player of the Match Mary Nkpa after 70 minutes before the Flamingos could get going.
Altogether, the Nigerian girls have so far netted 14 goals in three matches thanks to the firepower of Shakirat Moshood, Janet βSemenyaβ, Harmony Chidi and Peace Effiong.
They will need to have their shooting boots still on to deny the host nation the ultimate glory today.
Cote dβIvoire and Benin will do battle in the losersβ final.
