Remo Stars have again lost the leadership of the NPFL to Rivers United after they were forced to a 1-1 draw by home team Ikorodu City.
Remo Stars slipped to second position on 30 points from 17 matches, two points behind Rivers United, who beat Kwara United 2-1 today at home.
Remo Stars took the lead after just eight minutes through Ibrahim Shuaibu.
The visiting team were reduced to 10 men after Ahmed Akinyele got his second booking on the hour.
Ikorodu then snatched a late equaliser courtesy of Chineme Chinonso.
They are sixth on 25 points.
