Sadiq Umar has now arrived in Abidjan to complete the Super Eagles 23-man squad for tomorrow’s 2025 AFCON qualifier against Benin.
The Real Sociedad striker missed his flight to Cote d’Ivoire Wednesday.
His selection ahead of more deserving strikers has caused a stir.
Twenty three players will therefore train tonight ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Benin.
Tonight’s training will begin by 7pm local time (8pm in Nigeria) and it will done behind closed doors.
It was the same time the Eagles also trained Wednesday night.
Caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen will finalise his tactics for tomorrow’s clash.
