Wike’s War on Beggars: Hushpuppi’s Friend Woodberry Directs Minister Where to Find More Paupers

Nigerian online personality Olalekan Ponle, aka Woodberry, and friend of notorious Instagram influencer Hushpuppi (Ramon Olorunwa Abbas), cried out over Nyesom Wike’s plan for beggars in Abuja.

On Tuesday, October 23, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, declared war on beggars, declaring that enforcement authorities would begin to catch them on Monday.

Wike announced this at the formal flag-off ceremony for the construction of an access road from Ring 1 via N16 to Judges’ quarters and roads within the quarters in Abuja’s Katampe District.

Reacting to the news online, Woodberry declared that there were more beggars on WhatsApp and Snapchat than on the streets.

He wrote:

Hushpuppi Some months ago, TheTalk.NG reported that the world celebrated the 11-year sentence that was handed down to popular Nigerian scammer Hushpuppi.

American rapper and movie producer 50 Cent has shared that he wants to do a series about the scammer.
