The Flamingos go into the quarterfinal of this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup with a perfect record of three wins in as many matches courtesy of a late winner against hosts Dominican Republic early this morning.
The high-flying Nigerian girls needed an 89th minute goal scored from 24 yards by Shakirat Moshood to beat a resolute Dominican Republic team on the day.
It was her fourth goal of the tournament.
