Victor Osimhen’s outrageous scissors kick goal for Turkish champions Galatasaray was the crowning glory in a week Super Eagles stars Victor Boniface, Samuel Chukwueze and Olanrewaju Kayode stood out from the crowd.
5.Olanrewaju Kayode
The much-traveled striker fired a hat-trick for his Turkish club on the road at Adanaspor to prove that he has most certainly put behind him a highly publicised family feud that threatened to put an end to his career. The 31-year-old striker, who has also been capped by the Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles, has now scored four goals in six appearances for Sanliurfaspor. His club have also climbed to 12th place in a 20-team championship.
4.Tolu Arokodare
The striker, who has most recently been on the radar of the Super Eagles, is the leading scorer in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League after he netted his seventh goal for Genk to consolidate their leadership with a 3-2 win over Saint Truiden. He also assisted for his team’s winning goal just before the break. He is certainly doing something right this season for a striker who has been criticized in the past for not scoring enough goals.
3.Samuel Chukwueze
The Super Eagles winger had to pass a late fitness test before he made the most of a rare start for AC Milan by scoring the winning goal against Udinese. It was his first goal of the Serie A season and he must have enjoyed it a little bit more as he got past Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye to do so. He scooped the Man of the Match award as Milan climbed to fourth in the standings. The bigger challenge now is for this huge talent to sustain such high standards going forward.

2.Victor Boniface
The playful striker made up for missing a penalty early in a Bundesliga home game against Eintracht Frankfurt by notching the match winner. It was his fifth goal in the Bundesliga this season. The home win lifted defending champions Bayer Leverkusen to fourth place in the standings with 14 points from seven matches, three points behind leaders Bayern Munich. His eventful last few days that included the hostage situation in Libya with the Super Eagles took a different twist when he was involved in a car crash Sunday morning. Thankfully, he escaped major injuries.

1.Victor Osimhen
The Napoli loanee scored on his return from injury an awesome overhead kick goal for Galatasaray to win 3-0 in fine style at Antalyaspor. Osimhen himself has said he will back his scintillating effort to win the Puskas Award for the best goal in the world of the year. His other effort on the day was ruled out for offside. ‘Osi’ is certainly enjoying life in Turkey after a difficult time at Napoli last season. Defending champions Galatasaray are now five points clear at the top of the Turkish Super Lig.
